In this class, we will be discussing the basics of cleaning, cleansing and maintaining Altars and Sacred Spaces. We will also discuss the differences between altars and shrines, as well as how they can be used outdoors. Please note: You do not need a large outdoor space to have a magickal location outdoors.

  • Cleansing Materials:
    • Smudge stick and/or
    • Small, dark colored spray bottle
    • Water
    • The following Essential Oils:
      • Frankincense and Myrrh oil
      • Sandalwood oil
      • Sage oil
      • Pine Needles oil
  • Crafting Supplies maybe needed for decorating different objects
  • Regular Cleaning Supplies
  • Elemental Representations

This is a short class to help you learn how to make small altars. These are altars that are small and don't necessarily look like an altar. They can be used by anyone, but are excellent for those still in the Broom Closet as well as those with limited space or restrictions to what they can have in their rooms.

 Shrines: An Introduction

In this class, we will be discussing the basics of creating, cleaning , cleansing and maintaining Shrines. We will also discuss the different types of Shrines. We will be creating a shrine to represent what you would like.

Matte Medium - I use Gesso

Foam board 22x28 works well

Paper to cover the board that will match what your shrine is about 

Paper glue

Other craft supplies as needed 

Representations of the object of the Shrine

Photos if you are doing a shrine for ancestors or family if you want them

You can use paint instead of paper if you want
